I’ve installed the newest version of Ubuntu (11.10) about a week ago. There’re several small but annoying bugs found. I’ll try to search for possible solutions later. But now it’s just a list:
- Skype hangs completely during voice conversations. I need to issue kill -9 to restart.
- Filezilla hangs randomly
- Cannot switch off screensaver – a display goes blank even while watching a movie (I’ve already tried many advices but no one helps)
- Still no good power-saving support for my Sony Vaio laptop, the battery remains live for only about an hour.
Anyway the new release looks more balanced and stable, the interface is more accurate and intuitive. A good job!
